Purpose: The program was set up to create a training and observation program for future Crew Chiefs.
You must be in the FLR pool to be assigned a varsity Referee assignment.

Crew FLR Vs. Non-Crew FLR:
Future crew chiefs may be chosen from the Crew FLR or the Non-Crew FLR. The advantage of the Non-Crew FLR over the Crew FLR is that you are given more games. You cannot be considered a viable candidate for a crew chief until you have been observed in the FLR program.

Non-Crew FLR:
Cannot be on a crew. Could receive up to 5 or more Varsity Referee assignments per year. Can work other positions during weeks you are not assigned to a Referee position.

Crew FLR:
Can be on a crew. Could receive up to 3 Varsity Referee assignments. Can work other positions during weeks you are not assigned to a Referee position.

FLR Quantity:
Quantity to be re-evaluated on an annual basis depending on the maximum number of games for the upcoming season.
