2017 Registration

Welcome to the 2017 Football Season.  Once again our meetings will be held at Bellflower High School, 15301 McNab St., Bellflower, CA 90706.  

 

DUES:   Dues for 2017 will be $100 for Returning or Transfer officials.  1st year officials dues will be $75 for their 1st year.  Payment is due by 5/31/17 (postmarked).

By way of comparison, we are currently one of the lowest Annual dues of LA and Orange county CFOA units.  Annual dues of other area CFOA units are $100-$175.

 

LATE FEE: if paid on 6/01/17 or later, Dues for 2017 will be $125 ($25 ‘late fee’).

 

CREW DUES: if an official is a member of a Long Beach crew, that official must pay their Dues by 6/30/17 (postmarked).  If not, that official is removed from their crew.

 

GENERAL MEETING DATES: the following Dates were established for the 2017 General Meetings:

 

July 25   BBQ

August 1

August 15  (test will be on line)

August 22  (makeup test)

Sept 12

Sept 26

Oct 10

Oct 24  

 

ALL meetings are considered ‘General’ meetings.  To be Qualified in good standing, an official must receive 18 hours of instruction (21 hours for 1st year officials).   Members are required to attend at least one (1) October meeting, take and pass the summer study guide, take and pass the qualifying exam, and pay all membership and assigning fees.   

Unit instruction credit hours are as follows:

BBQ 3 hours

Each meeting is 2.5 hours

Warren passing league participation is a maximum of 2.5 hours

Passing summer study guide is 2 hours

 

Your Registration Form, Dues, and request for Banquet Tickets (as explained below) MUST be received on or before May 31, 2017.  Send your payment to:

You will not be assigned any games until your Registration Form and Dues have been received.

 

BANQUET: the date for the 2017 banquet is Tuesday, November 7.  Banquet tickets are $20.  As with last year, you can purchase your banquet tickets at the same time you submit your Registration Form and Dues for the 2017 season.

 

No packets will be mailed.  Members registering on or before July 25 may pick up their instructional packet on that date at Bellflower High School during the BBQ meeting.  The packets will be passed out at the conclusion of the instructional program (approximately 8:00 PM).  After July 25, packets must be picked up at the above listed Cerritos office address M-F between 9am-5pm.
